The festive season is just around the corner, and with it comes the much-anticipated Holiday Shop at Curtisville Primary Center. It's a magical time where our little ones get to pick out special gifts for their loved ones.
However, we have not had anyone volunteer to be the chairperson for this event, which means we may not be able to host it. We would be so disappointed (as would our students in grades K-2) to see this happen! Are you able to help?
What Does Being a Holiday Shop Chairperson Entail?
The Holiday Shop is a delightful week-long event, and your commitment would involve:
Set Up (Monday (evening), December 4th): Transforming the space into a winter wonderland for our students to enjoy.
Shopping Days (December 5th - 7th): Overseeing the daily operations, assisting kids as they make their selections, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Volunteer Coordination: Creating a signup sheet to organize volunteers who will contribute to the success of the event.
Financial Responsibilities: Managing transactions, filling IOUs, reordering merchandise as needed, and ensuring all funds are handed over to the treasurer at the conclusion of the event.
Rest assured, you won't be in this alone. The Lancer Parent-Educator Partnership (LPEP) Board will be there to support you every step of the way.
How Can You Help?
If you're enthusiastic about creating a memorable Holiday Shop experience for our kids and have the time to commit during the first week of December, we need you! Your efforts will make a significant impact and create lasting memories for our students.
