Congratulations to all of our Deer Lakes K-8 students on a successful Read-A-Thon! We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by all of our young readers. It is truly inspiring to see the love of reading and learning flourish in our school community.
We are thrilled to announce that with the help of our generous sponsors, we were able to raise a total of $13,336! This would not have been possible without the support and encouragement of our community, so a big thank you goes out to all of our sponsors for their generosity.
But the Read-A-Thon was not just about raising money. It was also about promoting a love of reading and encouraging our students to develop a lifelong habit of picking up a book. And with a total of 27,530 minutes read, it is clear that our students took this challenge to heart.
We are beyond grateful for the enthusiasm and commitment shown by our students, families, and sponsors. Thank you for helping us make this year's Read-A-Thon a huge success! We look forward to continuing to foster a love of reading in our school community for years to come.
