OLD BUSINESS

Apparel Sale brought in $6,743.50

Profit - $1,348.70

Winter apparel sale 11/1-11/20, pickup date 12/13-12/15

Pickup and shipping options available again – School staff will have the option to have apparel picked up by Kayla and delivered to the school

MS Book Fair was successful and did over $1,000 in sales.

MS Open House took place. – 1 T-shirt was sold, 6 new members joined

West Deer Festival was unsuccessful due to the rain. In the future will do less customized to each event activities. Only at a $20 loss.

BUSINESS IN PROGRESS

Cookie Dough sale closes on 10/7. Pickup date TBD.

CPC Book Fair – Lots of sales for the first day. Mrs. Cavalancia said we can set up in the library for open house.

Sarris Candy Sale Begins 10/23

Winter Apparel Sale Begins 11/1 – New designs being sent out for votes

SCHOOL REPORTS

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Principal – Absent, Jackie Jaros reported none

Liaison – Potential candy sale with Sarris pickup candy; would be a presale in the morning and would be delivered 10th period.

EAST UNION

Principal – Nothing new

Liaison – N/A

CURTISVILLE

Principal – CPC is one of America’s Healthiest Schools for the 2nd year in a row. Recognized for 7/9 categories. Mrs. Cavalancia is receiving the award next weekend in DC.

Movement Fridays is starting again.

Veteran’s Day is coming up. Being celebrated 11/9 in the morning. Breakfast will be 8:30-9, Veterans in classrooms until 10, and then assembly.

Liaison – Will get volunteers to help decorate for Veteran’s Day.

Fall parties will be happening soon.

REPORTS FROM THE BOARD

President – Sarah has stepped down from her position as EU Liaison. Going to have open nominations and the board will vote for someone to finish out Sarah’s term. Any suggestions should be sent to Shannon. Position will be voted on at November’s meeting.

Secretary – None

Treasurer – 5th Grade field trip has been paid in full.

Savings Account - $32,505.68 Savings

Checking account - $3,967.45 checking

76 new members so far this year

Communications Director- @LPEP.org emails have been created this past month.

Facebook engagement declining, please like and share as you feel comfortable.

Possibility of doing a family outing at North Park Ice Skating Rink in January.

Fundraising Director-

Open chair positions need to be filled.

Letters of engagement will be sent out soon – need help stuffing envelopes.

OPEN DISCUSSION

Mrs. Cavalancia complimented us on how we engage with other members of LPEP and asked for input.

Please share any ideas on how to recruit new members.

Google sheet will be made available for LPEP to help staff.
