5th grade field day planning:

1. Over the last month, we put a call out to local businesses to help us throw an epic field day – and they delivered! Through the generosity of so many business leaders, we were able to collect nearly $1,500 in additional funding for the event.  This extra money goes directly back to our 5th graders! Because of this we are now able to add an additional inflatable, several more games and some extra surprises to the day.  THANK YOU to the following businesses:

a. LJM Contracting

b. On Trend Hair Studio

c. Ace Lock, Inc.

d. Dunham’s Sports

e. Deer Creek Diner

f. AB Orthodontics

g. Pitt Ohio

h. Tillie’s Notary Service

i. TA Gall Inc.

j. Hrovosky Construction

k. Carillo Home Solutions, LLC

l. Walnut Woods Summer Camp

m. Ryan’s Garage Doors LLC

n. Key Bank

o. Speech Music and Wellness

2. We’re still seeking local business support through the donation of food. If any local restaurant owners are willing to donate pizza, sides or any other kinds of treats – please reach out to communications@lpep.org. Many businesses have already committed to helping us out and we are so grateful for their support! We’ll be sure to share the names of all the businesses helping us out very soon!

3. 5th grade families can support field day through purchasing items off our Amazon Wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/WE2OY2K960ED?ref_=wl_share

NOTE: many items on this list are reusable. Rest assured that these items will be used for future class parties, activities, etc. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

4. Since this is an all-day event, we will need lots of volunteers! Save the date: June 3, 2024 (with a June 4, 2024 rain date). We will be issuing volunteer signups via SignUp Genius on April 1.
