SCHOOL REPORTS
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Principal – Dr. Abate reported that having parents back in the school to help has really made things run smoothly and is appreciated.
Small committee of 8th graders want to have a dance. Lacie in charge of it. Need LPEP to help guide it. End of March.
Read across America 3/2-3/6, might need parent support
Would like help with PSSA week to get donations for snacks for students – ELA 4/22-26 Math/Science 4/29-5/3
Miss Jaros – Mini Dance Marathon 4/19 Hollywood Theme – need parent chaperones
Liaison – Lacie Claypool is the parent volunteer for the potential 8th grade semi-formal mentioned for March
6th grade field trip is June 4 at Acrisure Stadium
7th grade has their plans in motion for Soldiers and Sailors including scholarships requests to offset the cost.
7th grade team invited LPEP to assistance with executing a reward to the student for completing The Passport to the Holidays project. We had LPEP volunteers serving hot chocolate, cookies and popcorn while the student enjoyed movies in their classroom. All items were generously donated or purchased by the staff.
8th grade has not yet confirmed plans for an end of year celebration or any particular field trip.
EAST UNION

Principal – Science night dates will be announced soon. Reading night under the stars over at the stadium. Up next is get moving night. Mrs. Bright started planning process – possible a February date.
Families can start registering for Kindergarten.
KRT will be beginning of May.

Secretary – Miste talked to Bill from BKY Financial. The extension has been filed and we are waiting for the IRS to open online filing. Everything has been done on our end.
