Business in Progress:
Nothing Bundt Cake: Pickup on February 8. Volunteers needed for pickup. Total profit: $778.75
Sarris: Sale started on February 5 and ends on February 21. Pickup on March 25, 6:30-7 PM at CPC Cafeteria.
MS Dance: Need someone to work the cash box on February 9. Motion to allow a committee member to run the cash box if Michelle is unable to. Passed.
New Business:
Read-A-Thon: 100% participation from both CPC and EU. Four MS teachers have registered. Reader registration begins on February 20. Read-A-Thon is from February 28 to March 13.
By-Laws: Will be voted on in April.
Read Across America: Returning to MS.
McTeacher Night: Tentatively scheduled for March 5.
Book Fairs: CPC - Chair: Ari Grealish, Dates: February 8 to March 1, Setup: February 27 after 3:10 PM, Music room, Volunteers needed. EU - Chair: Julie Jenny, Dates: May (science night) - Mrs. Van / Julie to identify dates. MS - Chair: Sarah Parks, Dates: February 27 to February 29 during lunches, Times can be extended to other times than lunch, Volunteers needed.
Nominations Committee: Shelley Nulph will chair. Elections in March.
Egg Hunt: Michelle Ortlip will chair, replacing the egg hunt with activities.
2nd Grade Dance: Michelle, Chairperson - Candy Land Theme.
5th Grade Field Day: Shannon, Chairperson - Preparations have started. Theme: “Fit for the Future.”
School Reports:
Middle School: Read Across America coming back. LPEP to send out a wish list for healthy snack donations for students. Dates: April 22-25, with makeups on following Tuesday and Wednesday. PSSA Snacks: Motion to assist with sending out the wishlist to MS/EU families like how we collect donations for Veterans Day. Passed.
East Union: Student takeover in May. 6th Grade Field trip on June 4 - Acrisure Stadium. Details for 7th and 8th grade end of year festivities still need to be completed. Tentative: 8th grade Semi not happening in May, possibly in March.
Curtisville: PBIS event on February 9. One volunteer needed. Awaiting 2 field trip invoices.

President: None
Secretary: CPC 2nd graders had a yearbook cover contest. Two winners picked - front and back covers. Artwork on display at CPC. Facebook post by Shannon.
Treasurer: Checking - $17,772.45, Savings - $39,780.61. Full access to accounts to be provided in March.
Communications Director: None
Fundraising Director: Funds raised to date: $20,794.18. Outstanding chair positions filled: Pittsburgh Popcorn, Spring Apparel. Remaining fundraising schedule: Read-A-Thon, Book Fairs, McTeacher Night, Pittsburgh Popcorn, Spring Apparel, Dine-to-Donate, Summer fundraiser ideas, 2023/2024 fundraiser ideas, 2023/2024 calendar, Business Sponsorships relaunch during summer.
