Get Ready for the Mardi-tines Masquerade Dance at DL Middle School!

LPEP is thrilled to announce the upcoming Mardi-tines Masquerade Dance, scheduled for Friday, February 9th, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the middle school.

This isn't just any dance—it's a colorful fusion of Mardi Gras and Valentine's Day, where the students can revel in the spirit of both celebrations. For the price of $7, not only do they get to join the party, but they also receive their very own mask to decorate, a bag of embellishments, and a charming New Orleans trinket to take home at the end of the night.

Tickets will be available for purchase during lunch periods on January 30th, 31st, and February 1st. We urge everyone to get their tickets early to secure a spot at this unique event.

The Mardi-tines Masquerade Dance is set to be an exhilarating evening with a variety of attractions, including:

  • A face painter to bring some sparkle to the night

  • A temporary tattoo station for a touch of fun flair

  • A taste of New Orleans with authentic food offerings

  • Multiple contests and games with chances to win exciting prizes

  • And much more!

We want to make this dance an unforgettable experience for our kids, and we'd love your help to achieve that. We've set up an Amazon Wish List and a Sign-Up Genius for anyone willing to contribute to the success of the event. Whether it's through donations or volunteering your time, your support will make a significant difference.

If you're interested in chaperoning or volunteering at the dance, please ensure your clearances are updated and on file with the district. We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable night for everyone involved.

We can't wait to see the school transformed into a masquerade ballroom filled with laughter, dancing, and merriment. If you have any questions or would like more information, feel free to reach out to Sarah Parks at sarah.parks912@yahoo.com.

Let's come together to give our middle schoolers a Mardi-tines Masquerade Dance that they'll cherish

for years to come!

Thank you very much for your support and participation.

See you at the dance!
